Twilight!

Tonight I am going to see the midnight premiere of Twilight. I love this book it is so well written and I can't wait to see if the movie is as good. I am getting a little tired of obsessed girls though. It's rather annoying when all they talk about is Twilight. I mean it's fun to talk about but it's not something I always want to talk about. Well i am just excited to be able to go. The deal for me to go is that I have to still go to seminary and school tomorrow, do all my chores and homework without complaining, and I have to be nice to my family. The only bad part about this is that I still have to go to school and seminary because tomorrow night I have to go and help set up our youth conference this weekend and after that I have to attend tomorrow night then get up early Saturday and go again where after lunch I have to sing in a choir. I'm going to be so tired but I'm not complaining because it's so worth it. I really want to go so that's the price I pay.

Jingle Bells

Holiday season is finally here and I am thrilled!!!! This is my favorite time of year and its not because of the food though that is definitely a plus; it's because it's once a year where everyone forgets to be selfish. During this holiday season we always look for ways to help each other out and to take care of one another. It's a beautiful thing to see happening around you. We all do things with our family and spend time together while we enjoy the things we have in this world. The spirit of the holidays is what I love most. It's a feeling you get when you walk outside and you can see your breath and know that the holidays are close and you breathe a sigh of relief because for about 2 months people stop fighting and causing stress. You can finally relax after a long year. It's knowing that for this short time every year people seem to forget about themselves and look for ways to help everyone else. It's giving up things that you have to people who are without. It's realizing how blessed you are to have so many things. During this season we try and be the best we can because we know what's all about. Thanksgiving: the pilgrims and the native Americans gathered together to give thanks for all they had. They put aside their differences and ate together to show their gratitude for the things which they had because it could have been much less. Christmas: right in the name is the meaning; Christ. Christ the Lord was born this day. We celebrate the coming of our savior and we show our gratitude and love towards him by showing our love to others. Love is essential in people and it's what brings us together. No matter how far or different we may seem from each other, we are all united in ways we probably don't even realize. We are children of God, love unites us all, we are all people. I love love love this season because it brings people closer together and prepares us for another year of trials and hardships that are sure to come.
